Founder of MyVetNurse and a Registered Veterinary Nurse with over 23 years of experience.
Throughout my career, I've worked in a wide range of veterinary settings, including first opinion practice, emergency and out-of-hours care, charity practice and district veterinary nursing.
Over the years, I met many owners who needed support beyond the veterinary practice setting. Some pets find travel and clinic visits stressful. Others benefit from receiving care in familiar surroundings, where they feel safest and most comfortable. I also saw how valuable practical support and reassurance can be for owners navigating illness, recovery and the challenges that come with caring for a much-loved pet.
That is what led me to create MyVetNurse.
Animal welfare has always been at the heart of what I do. Alongside my clinical work, I have fostered and rehomed more than 300 stray cats and kittens. In recognition of this work, I was honoured to receive the RSPCA Queen Victoria Bronze Medal for excellence in animal care and compassion.
For me, veterinary nursing has always been about people as much as pets. After all, nobody knows a pet better than the people who love them, and when owners feel supported, pets benefit too.
