About MyVetNurse

Hello, I'm Naomi and I am the founder and owner of MyVetNurse. I have been caring for and nursing animals since 2002, and became a qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2008. I have an Animal Behaviourist Diploma and have also undertaken further training in pet bereavement and grief counselling.

I began my career at the RSPCA, and during my employment I fostered, hand-reared and re-homed over 300 cats and kittens in my spare time. For this work I was awarded the Queen Victoria Bronze medal in 2009.

MyVetNurse came into existence due to my love of consulting and offering animals the best possible care. With how busy and chaotic modern life is, I realised that animal care should be as convenient as any other service where home visits are the norm. It can be stressful for your animal having to leave their home, and can be challenging to plan a trip to a Veterinary practice around a busy schedule, or if transportation / mobility is an issue.

That is where we come in, with our flexible hours we can take the stress away by arranging a home visit at a time convenient for you. Think of MyVetNurse as your own personal Nurse.
